How to Prepare for Laser Hair Removal
DiolazeXL can remove unwanted hair on your arms, legs, chest, bikini line, and feet. Laser hair removal is also safe for the face, including over the lip, chin, and jaw. Follow these instructions to prepare for laser hair removal:
+ Avoid chemical peels for 2 weeks
+ Don’t use sunless tanning products for one week
+ Avoid tanning and waxing for 6 weeks
+ Do not use retinol, AHAs, BHAs, or skin exfoliants for one week
You want your skin to be clean the day of your treatment. Don’t put lotion, deodorant, or makeup on your treated area. You may shave your skin the day before laser hair removal, but don’t wax the area. Clean and shaved skin helps the laser focus on the hair follicles beneath the skin’s surface.

How long is treatment?

- Avoid heat — hot showers, saunas, and intense exercise for 24–48 hours
- Do not wax, tweeze, or thread between sessions — shaving is fine
- Avoid irritating skincare products on treated areas for 48 hours
- Allow shed hair to fall out naturally — do not pick, scratch or scrub off
